Admin Assistant (Available March 2020)

 

The purpose of this position is to assist the Office Manager and company team for all admin and support that will contribute to the growth and positive reputation of the business.

You are responsible for achieving your KPI’s and our company goals by ensuring you assist with the processing all company invoices, purchase orders, accounts receivable and debit collection.  You must also help with quotes, filling, recording keeping and reports, so we can deliver on our products and services across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling both Australian & international payments and preparing banking
  • Reconciling and paying supplier accounts with manager’s permission
  • Monitoring and tracking international stock orders
  • Preparing Australian GST and USA Sales Tax returns
  • Managing outstanding customer invoices/accounts and associated file management
  • Ordering and processing incoming stock
  • Raising invoices, picking stock and monitoring customer back orders
  • Organising the logistics for staff attending conferences throughout the year: including booking travel requirements, completing exhibitor manuals and selecting appropriate stock for shipment
  • General research & support duties as required

Education Consultant (Available March 2020)

 

The purpose of this position is to demonstrate your capability to sell and recommend our leading educational technologies, resources and STE(A)M solutions to schools and public libraries, both in person and over the telephone.

You are responsible for achieving your KPIs and our company goals. You will use your strong product and industry knowledge to engage and educate existing and potential clientele on the STE(A)M solutions the Brainary can deliver to clients.

It is important that you are an advocate of our company. You are expected to follow all of our policies and procedures, as well as contribute to our mission, purpose, vision and values so our company can perform at its best.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contacting prospective and existing customers in the education and public library fields by telephone.
  • Inspire prospective customers to participate in product demonstrations with the aim of inspiring them to purchase our STE(A)M solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations with prospective and existing customers.
  • 2 x interstate Sales trips each term (8 in total)
  • Scheduling follow up calls and sending follow up emails
  • Developing enduring relationships with clients and assisting them with solution focused outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records using a CRM system
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Other variations to duties as required

Digital Marketing & eCommerce Assistant (Available March 2020)

 

The purpose of this position is to demonstrate your Digital Marketing and eCommerce skills through the promotion of the Brainary’s leading products, services and solutions on our digital platforms.

You are responsible for achieving your KPI’s and our company goals. You will use your strong customer focus and creative thinking skills to deliver marketing campaigns that drive enquiries and sales through the Brainary’s digital platforms.

It is important that you are an advocate of our company by following all of our policies and procedures as well as contributing to our mission, purpose vision and values so our company can perform at its best.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently maintain and update the content of the company website including (but not limited to) Imagery, layout, design and promotional material.
  • Design and create high quality digital imagery as required
  • Research and source relevant information and news items for social media content
  • Use analytics to measure the company websites sales performance and profitability based on our marketing efforts
  • Assist the Marketing Coordinator with product launches, events, marketing and communication activities as directed by Management.
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing Coordinator to increase brand awareness and engagement of The Brainary and its products through varied communication media.
  • Undertake product photography in order to continuously improve the website's image.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant work experience in marketing & communications and/or computer science
  • Expertise and hands on coding experience with web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
  • Website design knowledge
  • A thorough understanding of SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity with a keen eye for aesthetics (page layout, typography)
  • Basic competency with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or other design software
  • High levels of proficiency and experience with various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • The ability to work as part of a team, or alone as required.
  • The ability to plan ahead, maintain accurate records, and be highly organized.
