We teach a class for you!

In 2018 we are offering primary schools, secondary schools, and public libraries in various regions of Australia the opportunity to have an in-school robotics workshop with NAO*.

Suitable for beginners through to advanced coders

Participants will get to see one of the world's most advanced humanoid robots in action and learn basic 'drag & drop' programming with NAO's intuitive programming interface 'Chorégraphe'. Advanced students will also see how NAO can be programmed using coding languages such as Python.

For teachers this session will demonstrate how easy it is to teach the new Australian Digital Technologies Curriculum with robotics platforms like NAO.

Testimonials

'Jordan’s presentation was well paced, informative and perfectly pitched for the age group. He also answered all of the student's questions with ease and authority. Jordan arrived with ample time for a quick chat with me regarding the presentation and also to set up prior to the students entering the room. His expertise in this field was evident in how he demonstrated the step-by-step coding/programming and displayed the capabilities of the robot to the students through dance, movement, etc.

-Christine Hatzon, Warriapendi Primary School, Perth

'Zac did an amazing job, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions we threw at him. The kids absolutely loved the session, especially when “Steve” was dancing. I felt the session was very informative and we all learnt a lot on how to program NAO. The students are still coming up with different things we could get him to do – always a good sign of a great incursion!

-Frances Hindle, Hollywood Primary School, Perth

'Zac was an engaging presenter and quickly established a rapport with the children aged from about 7 to 12 years. He explained the coding clearly and added enough fun to keep them attentive - as well as the parents.

-Sharon Carnegie, Wanneroo Library, Perth

'The visit was very successful. We particularly want to make mention of Sam's lovely interaction with each age group. A great ambassador for your company.'

-Anne Green, Holy Family School
