The Healthy Relationships Pack includes:
True Friends – True Friends is an educational board game designed to give kids the knowledge and skills they need to successfully navigate the world of cliques, shifting relationships, and (for older children only) the beginning of interest in the opposite sex.
The Personal and Intimate Relationship Skills Workbook – contains five separate sections to help participants learn more about about themselves, and the skills that are fundamental to developing and maintaining healthy relationships. They will discover and better understand the importance of these skills in living in harmony with a relationship partner.
Life Steps: Developing Healthy Relationships DVD – teens learn to build their own personal support system, recognise true friends, foster open communication with adults, recognise trust and honesty as a critical foundation for all relationships, and develop positive refusal skills. Also advances the all-important ability to negotiate with parents.
How Do I…Date? – Dating Skills Discussion Cards – helps young people understand the dating process and improve their skills in this area of communication. The cards promote expression and discussion in a light hearted way that avoids embarrassment.
Healthy Relationships Bingo for Teens – teaches the skills needed for healthy teenage relationships through this non-threatening bingo format. The topic areas used for the calling cards provide opportunities for teaching and discussion.
