The Brainary® is collaborating with Geelong Regional Libraries Corporation and Kitjarra Wurrun Ngeen Centre to offer 20 FREE 4-week programs for 12-18-year-olds across Victoria’s Barwon South West Region.

The Brainary’s Regional Youth STEM Project funded by the Australian Government aims to support 12-18-year-olds with their development of STEM skills by providing a hands-on learning opportunity with the latest technology.

The project has a strong focus on inclusivity and diversity within the field of STEM, aiming to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and inspired to pursue STEM in their future studies and careers.

In this session we find out how Virtual Reality is created and how it is used in real life. Experience virtual reality for yourself using VR Class.

Learn to code a robot using either Blockly or Python. Get to know how the Fable Robot operates before coding it to move objects. Find out how robots like Fable are used in real life including manufacturing.

In this final session we briefly explore 3 tech taster stations before speaking to a career expert about the many and varied careers available to everyone in the tech industry, including automotive mechanics, manufacturing, nanotechnology, production designer, and many more.
