Term 1, 2025 – STEM Newsletter
Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful break over the school holidays, we are excited for 2025.
Over the break I had the privilege of attending the BETT conference in London and I’m inspired by what I learnt and saw at the conference. A personal highlight was Sir Stephen Fry’s presentation on Education and AI. My key takeaways were; his skill as a presenter, the opportunity for AI to increase productivity and the assessment problems & opportunities AI presents us with.
Onto our STEM articles, Anna Miller from Kardinia International College gives us an insider’s look at their KUBO robot program, MJ Raatz from Forest Lake State High School shares the value of eSports programs within Secondary Schools and Hugh Kingsley, our Managing Director examines STEM Education within the context of Human Rights.
