Term 2, 2024 – STEM Newsletter

In this term’s newsletter we have a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence alongside an exciting case study from WA. We start with Kevin Daly and Daryl English, both former teachers and school leaders, who explore the different ways AI could be used to support teachers. Leon Furze, AI expert, continues the AI theme by highlighting the importance of engaging with generative AI. It’s important that we all, especially our students, have an understanding of generative AI, both its pros & cons. Last but not least, the SciTech team in WA share an excellent pi-top[4] case study on Python and Raspberry Pi programming in WA Primary Schools.
