Authors

Kay A. Toomey, PhD

Dr. Kay A. Toomey is a pediatric psychologist who has worked with picky eaters and problem feeders for over 35 years. She has developed the SOS Approach to Feeding as a family-centered program for assessing and treating children with feeding problems. Dr. Toomey helped to form The Children’s Hospital – Denver’s Pediatric Oral Feeding Clinic, as well as the Rose Medical Center’s Pediatric Feeding Center.

Megan Cornell, OTD, OTR/L

Dr. Megan Cornell is an occupational therapist who specializes in working with the pediatric population. Dr. Cornell has extensive training in the SOS Approach to Feeding and utilizes this approach daily with the children and families she now serves at Kidz First Therapy in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Cornell is passionate about helping picky eaters, problem feeders, and their families learn evidence-based strategies to make mealtimes fun.
