Social Participation Pack

$226.95 inc GST $206.32 ex GST

The importance of effective social participation skills cannot be underestimated. Accordingly, we have created the Social Participation Pack which utilises game-play to teach skills such as: Talking, Feeling, Doing; Helping, Sharing, Caring; Thinking, Stopping, Relaxation.

The Social Participation Pack includes:

The Talking, Feeling and Doing Game – A psychotherapeutic game for children. The first published therapeutic game by Richard A. Gardener, M.D., is still one of the most popular counselling tools used with children in therapeutic settings. A child’s responses while playing the game will reveal the psychological issues that are most important to him or her. Three types of cards offer prompts that will engage the child and, through their responses, reveal directions for therapeutic intervention.

The Helping, Sharing and Caring Game – This board game is specifically designed for children and their families. Game cards focus on sympathy, empathy, ethics, values, personal relationships, self-esteem, manners, health, and consideration for others, rather than strictly therapeutic concerns. Families find that the game improves communication and gives each family member an opportunity to express his or her concerns, opinions, and feelings.
