Author Biography

Matt Pitman is an experienced educational leader and a doctoral student researching connections across school communities. Matt has extensive experience in the leadership of curriculum teams and programs, student wellbeing, student improvement and community engagement. He has led Positive Education and student support programs working with students, parents, and staff to develop new understandings of the needs of young people in the 21st century. Matt is currently part of a dynamic EDventurous leadership team designing a new model for schooling in the picturesque Macedon Ranges, Victoria. One that is bound by play, exploration, and connection.
