Wooden Characters
Made from natural FSC-certified pine, each figure has a 15mm flat base making them sturdy and easy to stand up. This wooden character set is based on Helen Oxenbury’s artwork from We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. The figures provide a playful way for children to engage with the story and practise the language from the book, while exploring new versions of their own. Why not recreate the different environments featured in the story – grassland, woodland, mud, water, and snow scenes.
Set includes: Bear (160 x 160mm), Man and Baby (60 x 175mm), Older Girl (50 x 120mm), Younger Girl (45 x 100mm), Boy (50 x 90mm) and Dog (85 x 50mm).
Story Talk Cards

These attractive packs include eight double-sided plastic story cards featuring the original illustrations from the book on one side and engaging language activities on the reverse. Measuring 275 x 210mm and printed on durable plastic, these cards are ideal for introducing the story to a group and are tough enough for use throughout a learning environment, including outdoors.
