Character Pack for Children

Character! What is it about children and character that can be so challenging?

Simply, some have it in over abundance, some do not seem to have any at all, and have no idea what it is, and others do not know how to express it appropriately.

The aim on the Character Pack is to help teachers and counsellors address this important element of human behaviour in ways that actively engage children and lead to meaningful learning outcomes.

The Character Pack for Children includes:

Play-2-Learn Dominoes – Building Character – is an educational game developed to teach children how to learn to differentiate between actions that demonstrate good character and actions that demonstrate bad character.

Play-2-Learn Go Fish – Catch Good Character – covers a range of character dimensions, including honesty, caring, responsibility, fairness, and generosity, among others. The questions are designed to encourage players to give examples from their own experiences.

Stepping Up to Character DVD – promotes an essential set of character traits and skills in a warm-hearted, uproarious skit performed by Michael Pritchard and our lovable, zany puppet characters.

Values For Life – Ready-to-Use, Reproducible Character Education Activities – Provides reproducible activities to help children build character in five critical areas: -Self-respect -Respecting others –Cooperation –Responsibility -Making good choices.

Character Circles – is an educational board game specifically designed to challenge students to think critically about important character issues. They will learn what constitutes good character (and bad character), and what character means in terms of the quality of relationships with family, friends, and adults at school.
